Hello,

I just signed up here after being referred to this site from a member of another forum. I notice that their is extensive knowledge shared on this forum, and hopefully someone can point me in the right direction with my 05' Chevy equinox.

The Equinox is a 2005 with the 3.6l in it, and is AWD. It is having problems starting once in a while. Sometimes it will turn over for a while and start, and other times you have to attempt starting it a second or third time. While it does not happen everytime, it would be nice to solve this problem. The gas millage seems a little low as well. I know it is not one of the most fuel efficient vehicles out there, but I am averaging around 16MPG.

I am wondering if maybe it has a bad CO2 sensor. Would this confuse the computer on the correct amount of fuel to provide the engine when starting? Once it is running, it runs smooth.

Thank you in advanced for any direction on this problem!

check you "main relay" that is what it is called. in your underhood fuse box. if the terminals have some bluing on them it has been overheated. also change your fuel filter it has a fuel anti drain valve init. it is suppose to maitain fuel pressure in the fuel rail.
